The Role

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an Architect to join their London studio.

This is an excellent opportunity to work across a variety of residential mixed-use projects, supporting schemes from planning and design development through to technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality architectural design across multiple project stages
  • Produce planning packages and technical information
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants and local authorities

Key Requirements

  • ARB-registered Architect (min. 4 years PQE)
  • Strong UK residential and mixed-use experience
  • Experience across RIBA Stages 3–5
  • Excellent technical and detailing skills
  • Strong knowledge of UK Planning and Building Regulations
  • Revit proficiency (essential)
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

We are seeking a Technical Architect (4–5 years post-Part 3) to join a leading design-led practice working on high-end, multi-unit residential refurbishment projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technically complex schemes involving full strip-out back to frame, façade retention, and extensive internal fit-out on large-scale residential developments.

The Role

You will take a key role in delivering RIBA Stages 4 packages, producing detailed technical information and coordinating complex refurbishment projects through to construction.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver detailed design, technical packages and contract documentation
  • Lead and support RIBA Stages 4 onwards
  • Work on full strip-out / façade retention residential refurbishment schemes
  • Produce and coordinate Revit models within a BIM environment
  • Manage technical coordination across consultants and contractors
  • Support site stages, including RFIs and technical queries
  • Deliver complex internal fit-out packages

About You

  • 4–5 years post-Part 3 experience
  • Strong UK experience in high-end residential refurbishment
  • Proven Stage 4 UK project experience
  • Ideally strong background in strip-out, façade retention and complex refurb projects
  • Internal fit-out experience on medium to large-scale schemes
  • Excellent Revit skills and BIM coordination experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations
  • Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
  • Technically strong with good design awareness

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the delivery of hotel and hospitality projects across RIBA Stages 2–5, with a particular focus on Stages 4 and 5.

  • Develop and coordinate architectural designs in REVIT ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal design teams, consultants, contractors and clients throughout project delivery.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary information and resolve technical design challenges on complex projects.
  • Attend project meetings, workshops and site visits as required.
  • Support the successful delivery of projects through construction, responding to technical queries and reviewing contractor information.
  • Maintain high standards of design quality while balancing programme, budget and technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Qualified Architect with 4–5 years' post-Part 3 experience.
  • Strong UK project experience within the hotel and hospitality sector.
  • Proven experience delivering projects through RIBA Stages 4 and 5, with exposure to Stages 2 and 3.
  • Excellent REVIT skills and experience working within BIM environments.
  • Previous experience producing detailed technical packages and contract documentation.
  • Experience working on complex, large-scale or technically challenging projects.
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Good design awareness and an appreciation for high-quality architecture.
