We are seeking a Revit Technologist / Technician with 4-5 years of experience to join an award-winning, AJ100-listed architecture and interior design practice. Based in London, our creative and friendly client works on projects across the hospitality spectrum, including high-end residential, built-to-rent, student, and co-living sectors in the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Role and Key Tasks

• Produce detailed technical information for tender packages and construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Working on Internal projects to assist with the delivery for RIBA Stages 3-5.
• Develop and refine Revit models aligned with industry BIM Standards.
• Engage and collaborate with external consultants and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. This includes regular site visits, meetings, and communication to address any technical or design issues.
• Develop and refine architectural designs, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory requirements. Provide creative solutions to design challenges.
• Utilise advanced Revit skills to produce high-quality architectural & interior drawing packs.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings; enforcement of BEP across the project.
• Contribute on the improvement of BIM workflows and the development of company’s BIM frameworks and Revit libraries.
• Assist team with PIM authoring, federation and coordination, clash detection, product data creation and mining.
• Keep up to date with the latest innovation in the BIM world and suggested best practice methods.
• Manage BIM coordination issues and engage with the design teams for resolution.     

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Minimum 4 years relevant experience and qualified
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Architecture and/or Engineering
• Knowledge  of BIM Level 2 frameworks.
• Experience as Revit Architect / BIM coordination, familiar with RIBA stages 3 - 5.
• Advanced experience and competence in Revit authoring and collaboration between Revit & Navisworks Manage

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist/Technician with a strong command of REVIT and a proven track record in mid- to high-rise building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce precise and accurate drawings
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in REVIT
• Have a solid understanding of UK Construction and Building Regulations
• Collaborate with external MEP and Structural Engineers

The practice has an opportunity for REVIT Technician /Technologist or Architect who will be working on Date Centre projects all over Europe.

This Architectural Technologist role is for the construction stages utilising your technical skills fully on large scale technology projects.

The projects are all in Work Stage 5 and the practice is appointed by a Contractor to work with them coordinating the sub-contractor information in the REVIT models. It is very much a technical role on facades, subcontractor co-ordination and fit-out work.

‍

REVIT is essential and experience must be on large scale projects with complex model structures.

‍

To be successful you need to be able to demonstrate exceptionally good technical knowledge on previous projects.

‍

The successful candidate will work closely with Associate Director and manage multi-disciplinary consultants and work autonomously.

Requirements

• Degree qualified Technologist / Architect
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing
• RIBA stage 5 experience
• Previous latter project experience demonstrated in portfolio
• Previous experience in design and coordination of complex tender packages for fit-out and complex M&E led projects
• Able to follow design standards
• Able to travel freely to Europe without passport restrictions
• Strong REVIT knowledge
• BIM, clash detection / Navisworks an advantage.
