What is your role:

You will typically work on a major client account, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders (both inside and outside the organisation), and managing a project team. Most of the projects are in the commercial sectors, such as data centres, logistics, offices, retail, and hospitality.

A large proportion of our work is based outside the UK so travel opportunities are available for those wishing to experience working on projects somewhere new. This is an executive practice and you will need to have strong technical experience stages 3 onwards.

  

What makes you good at your job:

  • You have a minimum least 2-3 years UK post qualification experience, preferably across all project work stages in a relevant sector
  • Ideally you will have experience working on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and or Hospitals.
  • You are a RIBA, ARB or equivalent registered Architect with experience and a good understanding of UK, US or EU permitting and construction
  • A strong track-record of delivering projects through RIBA Stages 4, 5 and 6
  • You are able to demonstrate a high level of technical detailing skill
  • You have strong design skills and technical knowledge.
  • You have solid working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Being a fluent speaker of French of German would be a great advantage.

What is your role:

You will be responsible for managing and delivering projects from concept to completion with efficient attention to detail through the implementation of ISO19650 Information Management Standards. 

You will have the opportunity to show your passion for technical design and your coordination, innovation, and technical expertise to deliver great projects that exceed our client's expectations as well as reflect our values and vision.

What makes you good at your job:

  • You an experienced Architectural Technologist working within the UK Building Regulations
  • Your CIAT registered (desirable) or have a university degree in Architectural Technology
  • You have experience of working directly with the client, contractor and design team (desirable)
  • You have a good working knowledge of UK Building Systems, Regulations and construction types
  • You have an excellent working knowledge of CAD systems including Revit
  • You have previously worked within the residential, education or commercial (business space) sector on large complex UK projects.
  • You are able to think clearly, are self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimum supervision
  • You’re a skilled presenter both verbally and visually using software and hand drawing skills
  • You are someone who thrives in a social, encouraging, friendly environment.
  • You are highly computer literate, skilled in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite applications

What the role includes:

  • Working closely alongside other consultants, in preparing and coordinating construction packages including technical drawings, schedules and specifications.
  • Leading the detailed design process and coordinating design information.
  • Carrying out risk assessments.
  • Specifying the appropriate technology and tools to be used in the project and advising where this requires deviation from the initial design plans.

  • Coordinating detailed technical information from RIBA Stage 3 onwards
  • Preparing specifications for construction work
  • Producing technical detailing in Revit
  • Developing and implementing building designs, packages, details, within budget and according to UK building regulations

The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect with minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience.

REVIT PROFICIENCY IS ESSENTIAL.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 3 years qualified UK experience
  • Excellent technical experience gained on a range of projects, ideally with a value of £5m+
  • A strong track-record of running projects through RIBA Stages 4, 5 and 6, ideally within the residential and commercial sectors.
  • Demonstrate a high level of technical detailing skill along with an understanding of modern methods of construction.

  • Strong Revit experience is essential
