Embark on a rewarding career with an internationally acclaimed interior architecture and design studio, renowned for its innovative approach and global presence with offices in London and New York.  Nestled in the vibrant Chelsea Harbour, our client is at the forefront of creating breathtaking interior spaces.  Currently, they are in search of a talented Senior Interior Designer with 6-10 years of experience to join their dynamic London studio, specifically contributing to the Residential Team.  As a key member of the Design Studio Team, the Senior Designer will collaborate with Associates, Mid-Weight Designer,Junior Designers, 3D Visualisers and Librarian, shaping the vision of high-profile projects.

In this role, the Senior Designer will play a pivotal part in developing design concepts and managing the intricate design details,ensuring the day-to-day delivery of projects. Working closely with the Design Director, Creative Director and Associates in the Design Management Team, the Senior Designer will oversee the entire design process, from conception to execution.  The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in design and project management, spanning from large scale hotels to high end residential developments and restaurants.  Strong communication skills are imperative, as the Senior Designer will engage with client representatives and collaborate with various project team consultants. The role:

  • Developing the creative vision for the Studio’s projects alongside Management team.
  • Lead design research for projects in particular concept development.
  • Lead the material research
  • Engaging with suppliers and manufacturers
  • Knowledge of FF&E and overall project cost
  • Developing projects from concept through tocompletion   

 

Ideal candidate will have minimum 6 years’ experience as the client will consider experienced Mid-Weight Designers ready for the next step in their career.  Previous experience within luxury hospitality and residential projects would be advantageous.

What We're Looking For:

  • Confident in presenting and articulating design schemes to clients, and liaising with contractors, the design team, and suppliers.
  • Proficiently work with both 2D and 3D designs and produce drawings.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Minimum 5 Years Post-graduate Experience with at least 3 years in the luxury residential sector

  • High standard of technical ability and broad knowledge of materiality
  • Passion for FF&E and knowledge of suppliers, products, and specialist finishes

Senior FF&E Designer required with at least 5 years' of experience, as well as a passion for organisation and creating conceptual designs, including colour and texture.

To be successful in this role as Senior FF&E Designer, you will need excellent knowledge of FF&E selections (materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling) and be CAD proficient.  

Ideal project experience includes: Hospitality, high end residential, maritime, yachts or F&B commercial background.

  • Design and deliver high-quality interiors for luxury residential and hospitality projects.

Education
