Award-Winning Landscape Architecture Practice

Our client is a highly respected, award-winning landscape architecture practice with a growing team of 15 professionals. Based in the heart of the South Downs National Park, the studio is known for its strong design ethos, collaborative culture, and long-standing commitment to sustainability.

Due to continued success, they are now seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to join their friendly and supportive team.

The Practice

This is a design-led studio delivering work across all sectors, both in the UK and internationally. The portfolio includes:

  • Strategic masterplanning
  • Private estates
  • Residential and mixed-use developments
  • Corporate headquarters
  • Community care and healthcare environments
  • Schools and education projects
  • Heritage and conservation schemes
  • Parks, public realm and urban regeneration

The practice has received multiple RIBA Awards in recognition of its sustainable approach and design quality.

The Role

You will work across a diverse range of projects from concept through to delivery, collaborating closely with senior team members and clients. In addition to project work, the practice actively encourages involvement in collaborative internal teams, giving you a genuine voice within the studio and the opportunity to help shape its future direction.

Working Arrangements & Benefits

  • Hybrid  working after probation (3 days in the office / 2 from home)
  • Flexible working hours between 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday
  • 28  days’ holiday (including bank holidays)
  • 3  additional paid days for Christmas shutdown

What is your role:

We are in search of a Graduate Landscape Architect to join an experienced team, recognised for its excellence. Your primary focus will involve collaboration with developers on expansive residential & housing projects within a dynamic work environment.

The team places a strong emphasis on professional growth, mentorship, and support, actively fostering enduring connections with clients, co-consultants, and contractors, particularly within the well-established residential development sector across the UK. With numerous large-scale residential projects currently in progress nationwide, this presents an outstanding opportunity to become an integral part of an expanding and thriving team.

 

This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Landscape Architect who is looking to develop and grow their career within an enthusiastic and passionate team of Landscape Architects. The successful candidate will be working to deliver exciting projects within the UK across a number of sectors, particularly within the residential sectors. As a Graduate Landscape Architect, you will assist the Senior Landscape Architects in the design of landscape projects and attend site visits where you will see your designs being implemented.

 

You will be expected to:

  • Be a recent Landscape Architecture graduate
  • Learn to deliver creative solutions on high-quality projects
  • Be exposed to a wide range of design and assessment projects with a variety of clients
  • Working collaboratively within an established team of Landscape Architects and Ecologists
  • Develop skills to create plans and drawings of built and natural environments using computer-aided design programs     

 

What makes you good at your job:

  • A degree in Landscape Architecture or related subject (UK)
  • Some UK experience in this field
  • Cad software experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is a must – no sponsorship or visa help is available.
