What is your role:

We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect, with a strong design focus, to join this multi-award winning and growing practice.

This role offers a chance to contribute to the design of landscapes at all scales, from intimate domestic settings to expansive rural estates, and from small public realm spaces to extensive parklands, both within the UK and internationally. With a portfolio that includes high-profile projects, including many well-known London schemes, you'll be part of a team that embraces a thought-provoking design process, crafting landscapes that leave a lasting impact.

The successful candidate should ideally also have a BA (Hons) or Bsc (Hons) Undergraduate studies in Landscape Architecture, along with at least three years out in industry, working in a landscape practice. A working knowledge of BIM and construction detailing would be an advantage as well as a thirst for quality design.

  • Accomplished design, hand-sketching and graphic skills with the ability to communicate coherent and well-resolved ideas clearly
  • UK based project experience with good experience in all stages of design
  • Good knowledge of BIM and construction detailing
  • Proficiency in all relevant software packages including Revit
  • Excellent presentation skills and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
  • Ability to put together a high-quality& comprehensive design report and technical drawing package.

What is your role:

We are looking for a design-led Project Landscape Architect with demonstrable planting knowledge and at least three years’ post-graduate experience to join a friendly, hard-working, and collaborative team.

An award-winning leading landscape architecture practice which has received public acclaim for creating engaging and beautiful spaces around the world.

Project Landscape Architects at this practice undertake the full scope of landscape architecture duties on their projects and are involved from inception to completion. Supported and guided by senior colleagues and a partner, they work on design, planting, detailing, as well as supporting cost estimating, preparation of contract and tender documentation, tendering and administration of contracts and all works on site to completion. This role is also suitable for an Architect with experience in Landscape Architecture.

  • at least three years’ post-graduate experience, with good experience in all stages of design
  • good plant knowledge and experience in planting design
  • proficiency in all relevant software packages (Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365). Competency in 3d modelling using Rhino would be preferable
  • able to undertake Task Team Manager level BIM responsibilities
  • excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
  • demonstrable experience of the day-to-day running of a small to medium project and managing a project team
  • confidence in liaising with clients, contractors and other professionals, and the ability to develop strong relationships with them

My client is looking for talented Senior Landscape Architect to be part of friendly and growing Landscape Architecture firm within their London studio.

This successful Landscape Architecture practice is long term established and has further offices in Sheffield and Cheltenham.  Projects are varied and exciting, including private commercial schemes as well as working with local authorities and public realm projects.

Ideal candidate does not have to be Chartered, however previous project running, project leading experience as well as managing junior team members is a requirement. Ideal candidate will also need to show evidence of construction and site experience.

With the Landscape Team being relatively small, you will also benefit from a high level of involvement and input on projects.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree and post-graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture.
  • Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (or recognised international equivalent)- preferred but not essential.
  • An interest in sustainability and some knowledge of designing for biodiversity and SuDS.
  • Experience in LVIA would be beneficial but not essential.
  • An ability to write clearly and concisely, with excellent vocabulary and grammar.
  • Ability to produce compelling presentations, drawings, reports and marketing material with a good eye for layout.
  • Excellent computer skills including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office as a minimum.
  • Good project management and communication skills.
