About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Design Control

  • Lead architectural delivery across RIBA Stages 0–7

  • Participate in team development initiatives and maintain a proactive approach to CPD

 

Business Development

  • Identify opportunities for future work through project/client relationships

Key Requirements:

  • ARB-registered Architect or equivalent senior-level design professional
  • Minimum 6–8 years’ experience, ideally with exposure to aviation, large-scale infrastructure, transport architecture or life sciences.
  • Excellent working knowledge of RIBA work stages and UK building regulations
  • Strong project delivery and technical design background
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and navigating approvals processes
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD essential; familiarity with BIM Level 2 workflows desirable

Key Responsibilities

The Role:

As the successful candidate, you will prepare and develop drawings, images and other documents relating to design and technical delivery of projects covering all RIBA stages. Heritage experience is essential.

About the role:

We are seeking talented, ambitious, and committed BIM Coordinators or BIM Assistants to join a growing Manchester studio, supporting design teams in utilizing BIM tools and workflows as a central part of each project. Working closely with the Sector Lead, you will contribute to creating high-performance buildings, providing direct support to project team members and reporting to the BIM Manager.

 

Your responsibilities will include leveraging a strong knowledge of AEC industry standards, tools, and practices to enhance workflow collaboration and efficiency throughout project delivery. You will also monitor the performance and quality of BIM models, ensuring they meet project-specific BIM requirements and standards.

  

What makes you good at your job:

  • Background in architecture or engineering, with a professional degree from an accredited university
  • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit and other relevant BIM authoring packages
  • Proficient with Dynamo
  • Familiarity with ISO19650 (e.g. BIM execution plan,common data environment, etc)
  • Knowledge of Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Ladybug, Revit. Inside, BEAM is highly beneficial
  • Experience with a programming language with C#, Python and Revit API is beneficial
  • Experience with large scale / complex model creation in Revit
  • Revit exam-based certification would be considered an advantage
