About the Role:
A leading London-based architectural studio with a strong transport, aviation, science & research, and education portfolio is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Architectural Assistant to support ongoing projects across multiple sectors. With a clear route for progression and access to career mentorship, this is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is eager to gain exposure across all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work.
The firm offers a supportive, collaborative culture with career development pathways. Hybrid working is offered, with a minimum of 2 days/week in-office required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Project Architects and senior team members on packages and deliverables
- Assist in developing drawings, models, reports, and visual presentations
- Participate in internal meetings, design workshops, and external coordination sessions
- Contribute to technical documentation including drawings, schedules, and specifications
- Coordinate with BIM teams and work within pre-defined project workflows
- Stay up to date with UK building regulations, sustainability targets, and planning policies
- Contribute to presentations, competition bids, and industry-facing events
Key Requirements:
- Part II qualification or equivalent architectural degree
- Strong working knowledge of Revit (required), AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite
- Excellent design sensibility and ability to communicate graphically
- Eagerness to learn and develop across technical, design, and coordination areas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with RIBA work stages and basic understanding of UK building regulations
