As the studio continues to grow, they are now seeking a Technical Architect to join their dedicated Technical Delivery Team.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and technically strong architect (or architectural professional) with 5–10 years of experience, particularly in RIBA Stages 4 and 5. You'll play a key role in the delivery of complex and high-quality projects, collaborating with a wider multidisciplinary team to ensure design intent is upheld through to completion.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Architect, Architectural Assistant, or Architectural Technician with an architectural background
  • 5–10 years of post-qualification experience, with a focus on technical design and delivery (Stages 4–5)
  • Strong technical detailing skills and a deep understanding of UK building regulations and construction methodologies
  • Proficient in Revit (preferred) and confident working in BIM-led environments
  • Able to collaborate effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal design teams

We’re working with a leading architecture and design firm delivering large-scale technical and industrial projects across the UK and internationally. They are currently looking for an experienced Architectural Revit Technician to support the delivery of complex data centre and logistics developments.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project teams in producing accurate technical drawings, BIM models, and construction documentation using Revit. You’ll work on high-performance buildings primarily data centres, but also industrial or warehouse schemes across multiple international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and Revit models for architectural packages
  • Support project teams through RIBA Stages 3–5
  • Ensure where necessary compliance with UK building regulations and client standards
  • Coordinate models with other disciplines (MEP, structural)
  • Assist with BIM protocols and maintain Revit model health across projects

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Architectural Technician or Technologist
  • Strong proficiency in Revit
  • Previous experience working on data centres, industrial, or warehouse/logistics projects
  • Understanding of BIM workflows and technical delivery standards
  • Familiarity with UK Building Regulations; international experience (Europe or Middle East) is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams

What is your role:

A fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join our client's growing technical team in Southampton. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for producing high-quality technical drawings for residential projects.

You will be responsible for interpreting client briefs and creating detailed working drawings and technical documentation in line with current legislation. As the Technical Designer / CAD Technician, you should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT, with a background in commercial workplace interior fit-out projects.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT is essential.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Designer on UK-based projects.
  • Proven experience in delivering drawings and specifications as part of a design team.
  • Preferred experience in D&B, Commercial, or Traditional Workplace projects; experience working under tight, fast-paced deadlines is a must.
  • Willingness to focus primarily on technical design tasks.
  • Experience with SketchUp and Photoshop for visualizing is a valuable plus.
