About the Role

Our client is an employee-owned architecture practice and certified B Corp, with over 300 specialists across architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, urban design, town planning and graphic design, operating from a network of UK studios.

We are looking for an all-rounded Senior Technologist with experience across a variety of sectors, primarily education, technology and defence.

This permanent role is based in the practice's central Manchester studio and is suited to a technically capable Senior Technologist with strong Revit skills, ready to create drawn information, coordinate schemes and lead small internal teams — managing their own workload alongside supervising and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce drawn information and full specifications across live projects
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams and schemes
  • Lead and manage small internal project teams
  • Take a brief and develop initial proposals through technical delivery stages
  • Ensure compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements
  • Monitor financial performance on live projects

Key Requirements

  • Degree or HND in a relevant discipline
  • CIAT registration, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Required: relevant experience within Education, Technology or Defence sectors
  • In-depth working knowledge of Revit
  • Strong specification-writing and detailed design experience
  • Proven experience running projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to lead small teams while managing own workload

We are looking for an all-rounded Senior Technologist with experience across a variety of sectors, with essential experience in refurbishment and retrofit — ideally on heritage buildings — and desirable experience in education or healthcare projects.

This permanent role sits within a growing London studio and is suited to a technically strong Senior Technologist capable of running several on-site projects simultaneously, delegating effectively to junior team members while maintaining oversight of complex, large-scale work. Reporting to the regional director, you will lead project teams and take ownership of technical delivery from brief through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams and manage a small internal team, reporting to the regional director
  • Take a brief and develop initial proposals through technical delivery stages
  • Coordinate the design team and associated professional consultants
  • Manage client relationships, running multiple or complex projects to satisfaction, on time and in profit

The Role

About You

  • Qualified Architect with strong post-Part 3 experience.

  • Proficient in Revit with experience working within BIM environments.
