Key Responsibilities:

What They're Looking For:

Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in 3D spatial awareness, feasibility, and commercial viability of designs.
  • Some on-site experience and knowledge of CAD standards and Health & Safety procedures.

Experience:

Summary of Role:

We are looking for a motivated, organised and highly creative individual to assist on fast-paced projects.  As a Creative Graphic Designer you will be assisting the art consultancy, primarily creating unique artwork designs following client briefs, and mainly in 2D.  You will work on a variety of tasks, including creative concept development, producing artwork designs in a range of styles, creating mock-ups of designs, within visuals and on a range of materials and substrates, and creating presentation on layouts.  

Artwork created will be used in forms such as wall coverings, murals, printed artwork, etc., and will be in a variety of styles.  A portfolio will be required, showcasing a range and breadth of design and artwork creation skills.  While this is a small and tight-knit team, you will collaborate closely with the wider company, which includes interior designers, graphic designers, directors, and administrative support. This collaborative environment fosters a dynamic and stimulating atmosphere where ideas are shared, and creativity flourishes.

 

Overall Purpose and Key Responsibilities

  • Artwork concept development, including artwork research and narrative development
  • Creation of artwork designs, mock-ups, image retouching, use of image libraries  
  • Ability to creatively understand the Client’s brief and ensure the design is of exceptional quality
  • Working closely alongside the Head of Art, Senior Art Consultant and Project Manager   

Skills

  • Highly proficient in Adobe Suite including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Highly proficient in 2D rendering, digital pain ng, photo manipulation, photo retouch
  • Good special awareness and ability to read and understand architect plans and elevations
  • Creative flair
  • Highly proficient drawing skills, both digital and hand sketching

  • produce detailed bathroom plans/elevations; in addition to the design, you should demonstrate excellent working knowledge of appropriate materials to use from a practical perspective
  • attend site visits meeting with clients, wider design team, suppliers and contractors
  • manage the project timeline and ensure information and materials are supplied to the main contractor in a timely manner to facilitate the smooth running of the project(s)
