Remote working offered

About the Practice

Our client is an award-winning, design-led architecture practice specialising exclusively in bespoke private residential projects. Based in North London, the studio is renowned for delivering beautifully crafted homes, ranging from sensitive refurbishments and listed buildings to contemporary extensions and new-build residences.

Working across all RIBA stages, the practice places a strong emphasis on design quality, craftsmanship and close client collaboration, offering Architects genuine ownership of projects from concept through to completion.

The Role

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Architect to strengthen its technical delivery team.

This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys the post-planning stages of projects, taking ownership of technical delivery, consultant coordination and construction-stage responsibilities. Whilst there is still design involvement, the primary focus is on ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard through technical excellence and close collaboration with clients, consultants and contractors.

You will support the delivery of a number of high-end residential projects while also taking ownership of your own schemes through the later RIBA stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead bespoke private residential projects across RIBA Stages 4–7
  • Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages
  • Manage consultant coordination and technical design information
  • Respond to contractor queries during construction
  • Undertake Contract Administration (JCT) and site inspections
  • Maintain exceptional design quality throughout project delivery
