A leading global architecture practice is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join its multi-disciplinary team on a major UK hospital project. This is an opportunity to work on a large-scale, complex scheme within a collaborative, design-led environment.

You’ll play a key role in the delivery of the project, supporting digital coordination across disciplines and ensuring high-quality, structured information throughout the design process. Working closely with both internal teams and external consultants, you’ll help drive coordination, consistency, and project efficiency.

The role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, is confident working within complex project environments, and understands the importance of BIM as a tool for both design and information management.

Key experience includes:

  • BIM coordination within architecture, engineering or construction environments
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 and information management processes
  • Advanced Revit skills and experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Experience with coordination tools such as Navisworks or Solibri

Experience in healthcare projects or complex, service-led environments would be advantageous, but not essential.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive BIM Coordinator to support and enhance BIM delivery across multiple projects and teams.

This is a key growth hire working closely with design teams to implement standards, coordinate models and provide BIM training and technical guidance across the studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate BIM delivery across multiple projects
  • Manage models, federation, audits and clash detection
  • Develop and maintain BIM standards, libraries and workflows
  • Support COBie, Uniclass and data integration
  • Provide BIM training and technical support to teams
  • Liaise with consultants and external BIM stakeholders
  • Monitor model quality, compliance and project progress
  • Prepare and manage BIM documentation and outputs

Requirements

  • Proven BIM / Revit coordination experience in practice
  • Strong understanding of UK BIM standards and workflows
  • Experience supporting or training project teams
  • Knowledge of COBie / Uniclass / information management
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Able to work across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative, proactive and detail-focused mindset
  • Multi-sector experience. Data Centre experience highly regarded to due growing pipeline

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven BIM Coordinator to support the Programme Management Office (PMO). This pivotal role will lead on Building Information Management (BIM) and data quality assurance across a complex portfolio of capital projects.

You will ensure that all project information is accurate, consistent, and compliant with both contractual and statutory requirements, enabling stakeholders to assess progress, identify risks, and deliver projects efficiently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of Building Information Management (BIM) within the PMO.
  • Maintain and administer the Common Data Environment (CDE), currently using Viewpoint (subject to change).
  • Develop and oversee Project Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and Asset  Information Requirements (AIR).
  • Establish and maintain document naming conventions, workflows, and quality standards.
  • Manage and update BIM implementation plans and compliance trackers.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to colleagues, consultants, and contractors on information management processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with the UK BIM Framework, government legislation, and corporate policies.
  • Conduct information audits and oversee procurement and development of new systems where required.
  • Attend senior management and board meetings to present updates on BIM compliance and performance.

About You

You’ll be an organised, analytical, and proactive professional with a strong background in BIM or digital information management within the built environment. You’ll be confident working across multiple stakeholders and managing complex data systems.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Relevant technical qualifications or extensive experience in BIM/information management.
  • Strong understanding of CDE platforms (e.g. Viewpoint, Asite, or similar).
  • Proven experience managing compliance and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent IT, analytical, and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines across a varied project portfolio.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience within housing, regeneration, or public-sector infrastructure projects will be advantageous.
