About the Role:
Our client is a long-established architectural studio headquartered in Central London, with a strong track record in delivering complex public infrastructure, transport-led schemes, education and research facilities across the UK and internationally. Their project portfolio includes aviation hubs, rail interchanges, and high-density public buildings - all designed with a focus on functionality, sustainability, and precision.
They are currently seeking a BIM Coordinator to join their digital design team and support the delivery of medium to large-scale projects within a BIM-led environment. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between design teams and project leadership, ensuring BIM standards are followed and digital workflows are coordinated across disciplines. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate BIM models across internal teams and external consultants
- Set up and maintain BIM Execution Plans, TIDPs, and project-specific workflows
- Support ISO19650-aligned delivery and oversee Common Data Environment (CDE) protocols
- Chair BIM coordination meetings and lead issue tracking using appropriate software
- Validate and audit Revit models for quality, data accuracy, and compliance
- Assist in clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or equivalent tools
- Provide in-house training, guidance, and documentation for junior staff
- Contribute to the implementation of digital innovation and process improvement
Key Requirements:
- Background in architecture or related construction field
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and familiarity with Dynamo scripting
- Working knowledge of ISO19650, BIM Execution Plans, and CDE management
- Experience delivering BIM models and workflows on complex project
- Knowledge of tools such as Navisworks, Solibri, and BIM360/ACC
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across discipline
- Previous experience working in an architectural office on aviation/infrastructure projects preferred
