Key Responsibilities:

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background thrives on precision, quality, and coordination. You’ll work closely with architects and consultants to ensure technical excellence across all design stages, taking ownership of detailed design development, compliance, and construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee technical design packages from concept through to construction.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and design standards.
• Review and coordinate all drawing outputs for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and sub-consultants to align deliverables and meet programme milestones.
• Provide technical input in consultant coordination meetings, design workshops, and post-contract support.
• Maintain internal QA/QC standards, including regular drawing reviews and issue tracking.
• Support the team in producing and updating NBS specifications and project documentation.
• Attend technical team meetings, provide mentoring support, and contribute to the ongoing refinement of internal delivery standards.
• Lead or contribute to authority submissions, resource tracking, and design coordination schedules

Key Requirements:

• A recognised degree in Architectural Technology.
• CIAT registered or working towards Chartered status preferred. Technicians with strong technical experience will be considered
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an architectural practice, including UK-based project delivery
• While international experience is welcomed, UK experience is preferred.
• Preferably with a background in multi-residential design and delivery, particularly within the UK context, but open to hospitality, commercial & large-Scale experience.
• Expert proficiency in Revit, with strong understanding of BIM workflows and standards.
• Confident in technical detailing, UK building regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing complex project packages.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A self-starter, able to take initiative and drive technical quality across the team.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

The role

• As an Architectural Technologist, you’ll typically be engaged on a major client account, working with a range of stakeholders (both in and outside the business), and managing a project team. Most projects are in the commercial sectors of data centres, logistics, offices, retail and hospitality.
• A large proportion of work is based outside the UK so travel opportunities are available for those wishing to experience working on projects somewhere new.
• This role would suit qualified architectural technologist, but applications are also welcomed from other relevant professional backgrounds, including architects and designers.

Your skills and experience

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably across all project work stages in a relevant sector.
• A good understanding of UK, US or EU permitting and construction.
• Strong design skills and technical knowledge.
• Solid working knowledge of Revit and MS Office.
• Confident verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent team working skills and a positive, pro-active attitude.
• Great organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Position: REVIT Technician / Technologist (3-5 years experience)

‍

What the role entails:

• Produce detailed technical information for tender packages and construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Work on internal projects to assist with the delivery of RIBA Stages 3-5.
• Develop and refine Revit models in alignment with practice and industry BIM standards.
• Engage and collaborate with external consultants and contractors to ensure seamless project execution, including regular site visits, meetings, and communication to resolve any technical or design issues.
• Develop and refine architectural designs, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory requirements, while providing creative solutions to design challenges.
• Utilise advanced Revit skills to produce high-quality architectural and interior drawing packs.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and enforce BEP across the project.
• Contribute to improving BIM workflows and developing the company’s BIM frameworks and Revit libraries.
• Assist the team with BIM authoring, federation and coordination, clash detection, and product data creation/mining.
• Stay up to date with the latest innovations in the BIM world and suggest best practice methods.
• Manage BIM coordination issues and engage with design teams for resolution

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Architecture and/or Engineering.
• Knowledge of BIM Level 2 frameworks.
• Experience as a Revit Architect / BIM Coordinator, familiar with RIBA Stages 3-5.
• Minimum of three years’ experience working as a BIM Technician.
• Advanced experience and competence in Revit authoring and collaboration between Revit & Navisworks Manage.

Software Knowledge:

·        Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, BIM Collab, BIM 360, Enscape.
