A leading international architecture and interior design practice is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead and develop its digital delivery strategy across a diverse portfolio of hospitality, hotel, living and mixed-use projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong BIM professional to take ownership of BIM standards, information management and digital workflows within a highly creative design environment. The role combines hands-on project support with strategic responsibility for driving innovation, improving efficiency and advancing the practice's digital capabilities.

Working closely with senior leadership, project teams and IT support, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered consistently, efficiently and in line with industry best practice.

The Role

As BIM Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing BIM processes across the practice, supporting project teams and continuously improving digital delivery standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing BIM standards, Revit templates, family libraries and project setup procedures.
  • Supporting project teams with model setup, worksharing, coordinates, levels, grids and overall model management.
  • Producing, reviewing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
  • Leading information management processes in line with ISO 19650 principles.
  • Managing Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows, including Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM 360.
  • Reviewing and auditing project models to improve model quality, coordination and compliance.
  • Supporting BIM Coordinators, Architects and design teams with technical BIM and Revit-related challenges.
  • Assisting with model coordination, clash detection and federated model reviews.
  • Reviewing consultant BIM information, model deliverables and project BIM requirements.
  • Working alongside IT teams to manage BIM software, licences, plugins and technical infrastructure.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, QA processes and project delivery through technology.
  • Supporting wider digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI-enabled workflows and emerging digital tools.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and collaborative BIM professional who enjoys helping project teams succeed and is passionate about digital innovation within architecture.

You will ideally have:

  • A strong architectural background with experience of UK project delivery.
  • Advanced Autodesk Revit skills and extensive BIM management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Navisworks and model coordination workflows.
  • Experience setting up, managing and auditing Revit models across multiple projects.
  • Proven experience producing BIM Execution Plans and supporting BIM delivery strategies.
  • Good understanding of ISO 19650 and information management principles.
  • Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and/or BIM 360.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • The ability to translate complex technical BIM requirements into clear, practical solutions for project teams.
  • A genuine interest in digital innovation, automation and AI technologies that can improve design and project delivery.

Join a fantastic, award-winning architecture firm renowned for designing inspiring spaces to live, work, and unwind. With offices in London and Poland, this medium-sized practice, home to a talented team of 50 professionals, is now seeking a skilled BIM Manager to join their team.

This role is ideal for an experienced BIM Manager with at least three years of BIM management experience or a Senior BIM Coordinator ready to step into a managerial role. The ideal candidate will have a strong architectural background, exceptional BIM expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of modern digital construction concepts.

 

Knowledge,skills and abilities

  • Qualified as an Architect or Architectural Technologist with sound technical understanding of UK construction processes, procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Minimum of 3 years UK professional work experience as a BIM Manager or senior level BIM Coordinator.
  • Experience working on large residential and commercial projects and delivering projects using Revit across all RIBA work stages, particularly from Stage 3 onwards.
  • Experience working on BIM Level 2 with a detailed understanding of ISO 19650 compliancy.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, appointment and information protocol, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Minimum of 5 years advanced Revit and AutoCAD experience essential for this position.
  • Experience of Navisworks essential.
  • Experience of running clash detection and producing clash reports.
  • Experience of Dynamo essential.
  • Knowledge of Solibri, Revitzo and BIM Collab advantageous.
  • Knowledge of NBS Chorus advantageous.
  • Knowledge of visualisation technologies and their place in the BIM workflow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Possess strong people skills and leadership skills.

  

Responsibilities

  • Review and mitigate risk.
  • Support bid and early-stage client liaison for BIM aspirations
  • Based on Client requirements, develop a pre-construction BIM Execution Plan, establish and set up project BIM protocols, host BIM kick-off meetings with all parties and further meetings as required
  • Guide, support and review the delivery of Client requirements and agreed protocols produced by the team, assisting as required to ensure workflow and meet production schedules
  • Overseeing the use of BIM/Revit software company wide, including configuring, maintaining and supporting all BIM related software installations.
  • Maintaining and developing DA Revit Template and all BIM/Revit manuals and protocols, ensuring alignment and compliance with ISO 19650.
  • Setting up Revit projects, supporting start-up co-ordination and setting out project BIM Strategy.
  • Maintaining company specific Revit Library.
  • Maintaining project BEPs.
