The Opportunity

We’re working with a highly regarded design-and-build specialist delivering refurbishment and fit-out projects across the independent and private education sector. With an integrated in-house model spanning design and delivery, this business is known for moving quickly, working collaboratively and producing high-quality, well-considered educational environments.

This is a genuine opportunity for an Intermediate-level Architect or Interior Designer to join a growing team, take real ownership of design work, and see projects through from early concept to on-site delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and delivering practical, design-led solutions across multiple education projects
  • Producing coordinated drawings from concept through design development
  • Leading space planning, FF&E selection, and lighting, colour and material coordination
  • Creating strong 2D/3D visuals and rendered outputs to communicate design intent
  • Working directly with internal teams, consultants, suppliers and clients
  • Supporting procurement and ensuring designs align with programme and budget
  • Contributing to technically robust and compliant design solutions

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree-qualified in Architecture, Interior Design or similar
  • 4+ years’ professional experience
  • Strong experience delivering technical and construction-ready information
  • Confident using Revit and AutoCAD (essential)
  • Experience with SketchUp, InDesign, Enscape and Microsoft Office
  • Background in education, commercial or workplace environments preferred
  • Commercially aware, organised and confident communicating with clients

Why Apply?

You’ll be joining a business that offers real responsibility, visible impact, and long-term progression, working on meaningful education projects rather than repetitive commercial fit-outs. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced and design-focused, with clear expectations and the opportunity to develop both creatively and technically.
