We're in search of an ambitious and highly motivated leader to spearhead the development of a team while overseeing the delivery of custom conservation and heritage architecture projects. We require a well-organised individual with a strong track record in managing and executing work packages across all RIBA work stages. In addition, an excellent grasp of technical and construction aspects is essential.
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications and requirements:
AABC Accreditation: You are already AABC accredited, or you are committed to working towards this accreditation.
5 years post Part 3 Qualification:You hold a Part 3 qualification and have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Project Architect for a UK-based practice or possess an equivalent professional qualification.
Project Management and Contract Administration: You possess strong project management and contract administration skills.
NEC Contracts Knowledge:You have an in-depth understanding of NEC contracts.
Excellent Technical Skills:Your technical skills are exceptional, reflecting a high level of proficiency.
Conservation Experience:You have practical experience in conservation projects.
UK Building and Planning Regulations:You have a comprehensive understanding of UK Building and Planning regulations.
Leadership Experience:You have successfully managed small to medium-sized teams and demonstrated strong leadership skills.
Financial Responsibility:You have a track record of taking responsibility for the financial success of projects.
Proactive Approach:You are well-organized, proactive, and enthusiastic in your work and project management.
Effective Communication:Your communication skills, both verbal and written, are excellent.
RIBA Stages:You have proven experience in working on projects across all RIBA stages.
Client-Facing Skills:You can effectively engage with clients and exhibit strong client-facing communication skills.
Technical Detailing:You excel in technical detailing.
Technical Software Proficiency:You have experience using technical software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and NBS, or have managed others in using such software.
