What is your role:

You'll have the privilege of collaborating with an award-winning team on expansive international residential and commercial development projects, which include mixed-use masterplans and resort masterplans. We are currently seeking a project architect who embodies talent and ambition, capable of working on a diverse array of project types, scales, and stages. This presents a remarkable opportunity to join a rapidly growing architectural practice and contribute to luxurious international projects spanning the entire RIBA stages 0 to 7, mainly in the Middle East.

 

What makes you good at your job:

To be considered for this position, we are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Professional Registration: You should be registered with ARB (Architects Registration Board) or a member of RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects).

UK Post Qualification Experience: You should have a minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in the United Kingdom.

Middle-East or International Project or Experience: It's essential that you have previous experience working on notable projects in the Middle East region or international projects.

Job-Running Skills: You should have a proven track record of effectively managing projects and experience in overseeing projects across all stages.

Creative Design Capabilities: Your portfolio should showcase excellent creative design skills, demonstrating your ability to generate innovative architectural concepts.

Comprehensive Design and Construction Experience: You should have hands-on experience in all stages of the design and construction process, highlighting your ability to take projects from conception to completion.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in various 2D and 3D software tools is required, including Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, and InDesign.

 

What the role includes:

  • You will collaborate with the design team to develop project plans, concepts and designs for commercial and mixed-use projects
  • You will lead the production of project documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • You will manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
  • You will coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants
  • You will provide technical guidance and support to project team members
  • You will create building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design(CAD) applications
  • You will plan, develop and implement building designs, packages, details, within budget.
  • You will write and present reports, proposals, applications and contracts
  • You will adapt plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
