We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect with a proven track record in job running, to lead a prominent commercial retrofit in Central London for an institutional client. The project involves the sensitive retro fit of an existing listed building, including a new rooftop pavilion, amenity spaces, interior design and a Cat A fit-out.

This is a permanent role within a technically strong Commercial team, offering genuine ownership of a high-profile scheme from design through to delivery, working closely with an institutional client and a wider consultant team across all RIBA stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Job run the project from design through to delivery, taking ownership of programme and outcomes
  • Lead client-facing engagement with the institutional client throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage and coordinate a project team, including junior members and consultants
  • Develop and coordinate technical drawing packages in Revit across RIBA Stages 0–6
  • Undertake Principal Designer duties in line with CDM requirements
  • Ensure design quality and technical compliance on a sensitive listed-building retrofit

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' UK post-Part 3 experience
  • Proven job-running experience — essential
  • Commercial building experience preferred
  • Confident, client-facing, with the ability to lead a project team
  • Proficient in Revit, with experience across all RIBA Stages 0–6
  • Experience undertaking Principal Designer duties
  • Listed building experience beneficial
  • Exceptional design and organisational skills

Why Join?

  • Flexible working, including WFH Fridays, a work-from-anywhere week, and discretionary flexi-hours
  • Generous annual leave with an additional discretionary week over Christmas
  • Pension scheme, season ticket loan and cycle-to-work scheme
  • Professional development fully supported, including ARB/RIBA fees, Part 3 study support and in-house/external CPD
  • Wellbeing offering including subsidised gym, sports teams, life drawing, yoga and an Employee Assistance Programme
  • Enhanced family leave and additional perks including eye care support
