About the Role

Our client is an employee-owned architecture practice and certified B Corp, with over 300 specialists across architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, urban design, town planning and graphic design, operating from a network of UK studios.

We are looking for an all-rounded Senior Technologist with experience across a variety of sectors, primarily education, technology and defence.

This permanent role is based in the practice's central Manchester studio and is suited to a technically capable Senior Technologist with strong Revit skills, ready to create drawn information, coordinate schemes and lead small internal teams — managing their own workload alongside supervising and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce drawn information and full specifications across live projects
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams and schemes
  • Lead and manage small internal project teams
  • Take a brief and develop initial proposals through technical delivery stages
  • Ensure compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements
  • Monitor financial performance on live projects

Key Requirements

  • Degree or HND in a relevant discipline
  • CIAT registration, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Required: relevant experience within Education, Technology or Defence sectors
  • In-depth working knowledge of Revit
  • Strong specification-writing and detailed design experience
  • Proven experience running projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to lead small teams while managing own workload

Why Join?

Our client offers a collaborative, inclusive environment with strong benefits and flexibility.

  • Full-time hours (37.5/week) with hybrid, flexible and agile working
  • 25 days' holiday plus public holidays, health cash plan, life assurance, cycle-to-work and EV lease schemes
  • Structured professional development, training and mentoring
  • Supportive, friendly studio culture
  • Modern, well-equipped studio in central Manchester
