About the Practice

Our client is an award-winning, design-led architecture practice specialising exclusively in bespoke private residential projects. Based in North London, the studio is renowned for delivering beautifully crafted homes,ranging from sensitive refurbishments and listed buildings to contemporary extensions and new-build residences.

Working across all RIBA stages, the practice places a strong emphasis on design quality, craftsmanship and close client collaboration,offering Architects genuine ownership of projects from concept through to completion.

The Role

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Architect to lead the delivery of high-end private residential projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working directly with private clients and consultants, and delivering beautifully detailed homes from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead bespoke private residential projects across all RIBA Stages (0–7)
  • Manage client, consultant and contractor relationships
  • Produce and coordinate high-quality design and technical information
  • Oversee planning applications, technical packages and construction-stage delivery
  • Administer building contracts and undertake site coordination
  • Maintain exceptional design quality throughout the project lifecycle

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' UK post-Part 3 experience (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Proven experience delivering high-end private residential projects from concept to completion
  • Strong design, technical detailing and construction knowledge
  • Excellent understanding of UK Planning, Building Regulations and contract administration
  • Experience working directly with private domestic clients
  • Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks, SketchUp, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite
