Bids Manager (Maternity Cover) — Globally Renowned Architecture & Design Studio

London (full-time, fixed-term, office-based) | c. £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience

Ignis Partners is working with one of London's most respected international architecture and design practices to find an experienced Bids Manager for a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is a great opportunity to lead the bidding function at a studio whose work shapes landmark buildings and public realm across the UK and internationally.

The studio

A large, established practice of 100+ designers, researchers and thinkers, this is a partner-led environment built around context-driven design, long-term value and a genuine commitment to climate and culture. The work spans landmark commercial towers, mixed-use neighbourhoods, healthcare and research campuses, and award-winning sustainable buildings. It's a creative, internationally minded studio with a friendly atmosphere, a modern central-London space and excellent transport links.

The role

Working as part of a small bidding team and reporting into business development, you'll lead and coordinate high-quality bid submissions across UK and international opportunities, working closely with partners, project teams and the wider business development function. Day to day, you'll:

  • Lead and manage the bids function (currently a team of two), providing direction, oversight and professional development
  • Prepare and coordinate bid submissions, applying strong knowledge of the RFP process in the UK and internationally
  • Coordinate input from partners and project teams
  • Tailor CVs, case studies and standard content for each submission
  • Maintain the bid library and content database
  • Review submissions for quality, accuracy and compliance
  • Support interview preparation and presentation materials
  • Track opportunities and bid outcomes
  • Maintain sub-consultant relationships
  • Manage vendor portals and keep registrations up to date
  • Support global business development and maintain the practice's CRM

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years' experience preparing and coordinating architectural bid submissions, with demonstrable understanding of the bid management process
  • Knowledge of the RFP process in both UK and international markets
  • An architectural background or a strong interest in architecture, construction and the creative process
  • An understanding of the design and procurement process; knowledge of contractual matters is an advantage
  • A talent for writing concisely and clearly, with excellent attention to detail and a thorough approach
  • Strong organisational, administrative and document-production skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a small business development team

The person

This is a small, close-knit team, so personality fit is vital. You'll be self-disciplined, entrepreneurial and confident in a creative environment — diplomatic but assertive, friendly but robust, able to challenge constructively and think on your feet. A relationship-builder who can influence cross-functionally, earn the trust of senior management and architectural staff alike, and stay calm and flexible under deadline pressure.

The package

  • Salary in the region of £45,000–£55,000, depending on experience
  • Private healthcare, healthcare cash plan and pension scheme
  • A globally fluent studio representing dozens of nationalities and languages
  • Modern central-London studio in a vibrant location

Please note: this is a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover role based in the London office. All candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

London (full-time, office-based) | c. £38,000–£48,000 depending on experience

Ignis Partners is working with one of London's most respected international architecture and design practices to find an experienced Communications & PR Coordinator. This is a rare opening within a small, high-calibre comms team at a studio whose work shapes skylines and public realm across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

The studio

A large, established practice of 100+ designers, researchers and thinkers, this is a partner-led environment built around context-driven design, long-term value and a genuine commitment to climate and culture. The work spans landmark commercial towers, mixed-use neighbourhoods, healthcare and research campuses, and award-winning sustainable buildings, supported by an in-house research and strategy function. The role

Reporting into senior leadership and working closely with partners, project teams and creatives, you'll help deliver the studio's global PR and communications strategy. Day to day, you'll:

  • Manage social media presence across international platforms, internal comms, the studio newsletter and awards submissions

What you'll bring

  • Typically 3+ years' experience in a comparable communications or PR role
  • A track record of designing and delivering successful multi-channel campaigns (print, broadcast, online, social)
  • Media relations experience, including high-profile announcements and sensitive or complex issues
  • Strong storytelling instincts and exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and confident Word/PowerPoint for executive comms and strategy decks
  • Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, HubSpot, Google Analytics) and CRM/digital asset management systems
  • A degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing or a related field is advantageous
  • A genuine passion for design, architecture and cities is a real plus

The package

  • Salary in the region of £38,000–£48,000, depending on experience

Award-winning interior design consultancy seeks a strategic, digitally-savvy Marketing Manager

Hybrid
Hybrid working offered
Remote working offered

The Studio

This is a rare opportunity to join a multi-award-winning interior design consultancy whose work spans some of the world's most celebrated hospitality and hotel projects. With a portfolio that includes iconic restaurants, luxury hotel spaces, and globally recognised brand environments — from intimate London dining rooms to five-star resorts — the studio is known for creating spaces that are as commercially astute as they are visually extraordinary.

A tight-knit team of around ten, the studio punches well above its weight. With three directors at the helm and an enviable client list that reads like a who's who of the hospitality world, the business is now embarking on a period of further growth — and marketing is central to that ambition.

The Role

We are looking for a part-time (4 days per week) Marketing Manager to lead bold, multi-channel marketing — from shaping the annual strategy and growing client relationships, to securing press wins and amplifying the studio's presence in the luxury hospitality world. This is a newly created, standalone position reporting to the Brand Director, with real autonomy to build the function from scratch and — in time — potentially grow a team around you.

The central challenge is an interesting one: while the studio's F&B reputation is well established, its capabilities stretch far beyond restaurants. Your role will be to broaden that narrative - repositioning the brand in the minds of existing and prospective clients to reflect the full breadth of what the studio offers, from hotel communal spaces to arts venues and retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Brand

  • Develop and own the annual marketing strategy, setting clear objectives across channels and audiences
  • Drive brand repositioning beyond F&B, cross-selling the  studio's wider capabilities to existing and new clients
  • Support new business pitches, bids and client-facing presentations

Digital Marketing

  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns end-to-end using platforms such as Mailchimp — from segmentation and list management through to design, copy and performance analysis
  • Develop a content marketing strategy — commissioning and producing case studies, editorial and thought leadership that showcase the studio's expertise
  • Explore affiliate and partnership opportunities with industry publications and complementary organisations
  • Monitor performance across all digital channels and use insight to improve effectiveness

Brand & Content

  • Curate the studio's visual identity across all touchpoints,  ensuring imagery and messaging reflect the quality of the work
  • Use Adobe Photoshop and InDesign to produce marketing materials, campaign assets and presentations
  • Manage social media as one component of the broader marketing mix

Press & Profile

  • Pursue press coverage across design, architecture, hospitality and luxury lifestyle media
  • Build relationships with journalists, editors and industry influencers
  • Identify and manage award submissions to strengthen the studio's profile

What We're Looking For

This is not a social media-led role. We need someone who can think and execute across the full digital channel mix, with the strategic capability to tie it all together. You will come from a creative, architecture, interiors or arts publication background, with a strong creative eye and the confidence to curate visual content that does justice to exceptional work.

Essential

  • Proven digital marketing experience
  • Hands-on experience with Mailchimp or similar email platforms
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
  • Experience developing and owning a marketing strategy
  • Background in a creative, architecture, interiors or arts publication environment
  • A self-starter comfortable working independently and building from the ground up

Desirable

  • Experience with affiliate or partnership marketing
  • Experience supporting pitches and new business presentations
  • Existing press contacts in design, hospitality or luxury lifestyle  media

What's On Offer

  • Hybrid working: 1 day from home per week after probation
  • Remote working package: up to 3 weeks per year
