We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bid / Proposals Manager for an amazing award-winning, AJ100 listed architectural firm in Manchester, UK. They are an international architectural, masterplanning and interior design practice, creating buildings, experiences and spaces that resonate.

Role:

The role typically has a 70:30 ratio of bid/proposals to marketing. Therefore, your priority would be to manage the release of an opportunity (RFI, PQQ, ITT, RFP etc) through to its submission and at interview stage, implementing all necessary proposal procedures, compliance assurance and governance. There will be both public & private sector bidding, inclusive of frameworks. You will be able to create compliant and compelling bid content and case studies that respond to a client’s pain points and effectively articulate win themes. You will support the production of technical copy alongside the team, as well as ensure the compliance of commercial aspects.

You will work closely with senior leadership to kick off the bid process, identify the bid team, target client requirements, manage the timescales for production, facilitate reviews and deliver the proposal. Typically, you will have experience of managing and updating a knowledge management library and will be comfortable in contributing and editing standard content to target a client’s bespoke requirements.

Naturally, the role will require the development of close familiarity with the practice’s projects and approach. In the marketing function you will add to and update the sector portfolios, create bespoke content and enter targeted awards.

This is a highly engaged role which requires an ability to work under pressure and to stringent deadlines, yet also recognises the importance of work/life balance. This is a role that welcomes a flexible, creative approach and will be extremely rewarding to the right person.

Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join its award-winning practice in London. We are seeking a creative and ambitious individual, who resonates with the practices approach and can take the lead on creating a cohesive and consistent studio profile, helping the practice shape their voice in the architectural industry.

About the role:

  • coordinating and implementing PR and marketing strategies
  • identifying and managing business development opportunities including developing new sector targets in the UK and overseas
  • responsible for writing and distributing press releases, newsletters, social media posts and other publications. All content will have to be cohesive reflecting the studio identity and values
  • managing and updating writing in all marketing collateral including publications, portfolios and CVs
  • identifying lectures, speaking, judging opportunities and network opportunities for the principal and senior team
  • coordinating award submissions
  • fostering and expanding press network
  • coordinating internal and external PR activity including liaison with press and external PR companies
