Role Overview

  • Support senior architects and project leaders across RIBA Stages 2–5
  • Contribute to planning packages, design development, and technical detailing
  • Produce drawings, models, visuals, and coordinated packages
  • Assist with consultant coordination and project research
  • Ideal for candidates with experience in data centres, laboratories, industrial, science/tech, or large commercial sectors — or transferable technical experience

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Summary of Role:

We are looking to recruit an experienced, talented, creative Part 2 architectural assistant or a newly qualified architect with a strong ‘design eye’ to work on residential projects with a focus on high quality / bespoke design. Project size is wide ranging from small mews properties and one-off apartments / penthouses to large apartment buildings/mixed use schemes £1.0 – 20.0m construction value

The successful candidates will prepare and develop drawings, models, images and other documents relating to design and technical documentation, covering all RIBA stages

Ideal Candidate:

  • a minimum of two to three years’ practice experience working at all RIBA stages
  • a strong design ability including experience of detail / technical design and delivery
  • excellent graphic skills and 3D design ability. Should be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp (or similar) and have appropriate rendering competencies. Experience of AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, be confident, approachable and a strong team player
  • comfortable and confident in both client facing and contractor facing roles
  • will most likely have worked in a small to medium sized practice specialising in residential or other high specification bespoke projects (e.g. hotel/heritage)

The Role:

Your role as an experienced Assistant Architect, or newly qualified Part 3, will be to prepare and develop drawings with a keen eye for design.  You will produce models, images and other documentation relating to design and technical documents across all RIBA stages predominantly within residential projects.

This position will suit an Assistant Architect with 3 plus years' experience, or a recently qualified Part 3 Architect.
