The Role

  • Establish and maintain document naming conventions, workflows, and quality standards.

  • Provide training, guidance, and support to colleagues, consultants, and contractors on information management processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with the UK BIM Framework, government legislation, and corporate policies.
  • Conduct information audits and oversee procurement and development of new systems where required.
  • Attend senior management and board meetings to present updates on BIM compliance and performance.

About You

You’ll be an organised, analytical, and proactive professional with a strong background in BIM or digital information management within the built environment. You’ll be confident working across multiple stakeholders and managing complex data systems.

  • Experience in CDE and BCF platforms(additional advantage)
  • Architectural background, education and experience
  • Basic knowledge on managerial side of BIM and documents
  • Education in BIM Management or similar(additional advantage)
  • Communication, organisation, and personal skills to lead one on one and group training

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Support:
  • Set up BIM Project Start meetings with teams and BIM Manager
  • Set up Post stage completion BIM meetings with teams and BIM Manager
  • Troubleshooting and guidance in executing project deliverables
  • Training upon request
  • Audit projects to ensure best practice
  • Establish weekly meetings with project teams to strategize project deliverables

 

Project Coordination:
  • Setting up and strategizing projects.
  • Set up new project files and linked file hierarchies including survey files, building models and shared coordinates Prepare and update file setup organigram
  • Liaise with BIM Coordinators from external design teams to establish BIM execution protocols, standards, and workflows
  • Write, update, maintain and ensure compliance of project BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
  • Coordinate and or set up clash detect models with external teams in conjunction with project deliverables.
  • Provide detailed, useful clash reports and prepare a member of the team to do further clash reports
  • Liaise with the project team, client and consultants to review all BIM models for the project and guide project teams through the BIM process

      

Internal Management:
  • Liaise with Head of BIM and BIM Manager to ensure any changes in procedures and standards are effectively communicated to the project team
  • Prepare and schedule continues training for project specific teams
  • Management and maintenance of  Revit standards and templates for each project to ensure that the project is comprehensively documented for construction
  • Provide project feedback to the Head of BIM and BIM Manager as to where office procedures and content can be improved,adapted or where further support is required
  • Provide project feedback to the Head of BIM and BIM Manager as to project audit reports and team skill surveys
  • Provide weekly reports on general,project specific and training status
  • Update project list
  • Attend BIM Support Team meetings
